Akkesoir Akke Visschers graduated for her bachelor degree in Fashion Design at the Academy of Visual Arts and Design in 2004 in Maastricht.
Parallel to her international modeling career, she started focusing on her passion, ... jewels.
After a few collaborations with jewels for runway shows, she got ready to present the collection under the 2006 founded label Akkesoir.
The concept to combine antique materials like vintage chandelier parts, gold plated bearings and antique Rajasthani coins, found immediately big acceptance in the world wide best high-end boutiques. Akkesoir Spring-Summer 2009 showed up the first complete bracelet collection. Alligator skin, studded details and heavy chains made the product fan under the Parisian scene. Akke presents her new complete collection, including chains and bracelets, in Düsseldorf, Munich and Paris via Agency Bernd Schürmann.
